Assisted Hatching Micropipets

Precision Tooling to Meet Your Needs

Assisted Hatching (Chemical) micropipets are used to create a hole in the zona pellucida using acid Tyrode's solution. These micropipets are made with a blunt opening, slightly polished, and are offered in two sizes: a small that is 8-10μm I.D. and a large that is
10-12μm I.D. Other diameters may be ordered as customized Assisted Hatching micropipets by specifying the desired size of the opening.

Assisted Hatching micropipets may be ordered straight or with an angle. Angle choices are 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45.

Standard Hatching micropipets are angled 0.5mm from the tip. However, you may order a customized Hatching micropipet angled 1mm, 1.5mm or 2.0mm back from the polished end.

A number of micropipets are typically stocked in our inventory. Others are made when ordered and require 4-6 weeks delivery time. Request a catalog, or view the pages below for details.
