Magical Trapper
This product is a magnetic beads separation stand
suitable for manual use in extraction and purification
of nuclear acids and proteins with magnetic beads.
Toyobo markets the MagExtractor�
series as kits for extraction and purification of
nuclear acids and proteins.
Ten micro tubes (1.5-2ml) and one tube (15ml) are
supported on this stand, allowing extraction and
purification on a scale suitable to sample amounts.
The tubes can be firmly supported on the stand to
perform decantation without effort, providing much
simpler procedures compared to B/F (solid-liquid)
separation with compact desktop centrifuges.
The integrated, one-piece stand results in a low price
and a lighter weight design compared to conventional
magnetic beads separation stands used in multisampling.
